Love the .hack legend of the twilight review. I used to rent the first 2 volumes of it 15+ years ago from the library over and over and got the third volume at a bookstore, then finally got the omnibus when it dropped. I still go through it again yearly or so for the nostalgia.

Community question: What is the best anime and/or you have seen? Worst? For me, the best anime is Cowboy Bebop and manga is King of Thorn. While worst would be Mars of Destruction for anime and nothing in particular for manga, Death Note was a major disappointment for me, so I guess that counts.

Worst anime is an interesting question. I guess the egregiously worst was probably Melody of Oblivion. Mayoiga could have been good but it fumbled its story in a lot of places, it gets runner-up. Then I'd put Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure in third worst (too long to explain).

Best is a very difficult question to answer. It floats between HxH (1999), GitS 2nd gig, Flying Witch, Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume, Daker than black S2 and a couple others (Haibane Renmei, Aria...). Worst: I would say Ev〇ng〇lion but only because it is widely identified as anime. It is no such thing. Actual anime, I would have to go with Majo no Tabitabi (recency bias), maybe Lain.

Fortunately, there are no active hostilities near me, but air raids are disturbing and sometimes rockets fly in and blow something up.

Should I create a do and don't page for otakus? For example, a do would be to seek other people who like/dislike similar anime to you, while a don't would be going to a store in cosplay (I have seen this all too often).
