yuck i was going to read that book until i learned it was in the splatterpunk genre ("extreme, hardcore horror"...basically just torture porn imo T_T) im glad to have read your thoughts on it but im sorry you had to read it lmao 😭😭

I love your thoughts on Convenience Store Woman! I absolutely read Keiko as autistic, too. I read it not long after I read "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" and I think they're really similar in themes and stories of autistic women trying to live their lives without interference.

thank you both for your thoughts. i’d never heard of splatterpunk and may avoid the genre now. i think i’ll read eleanor oliphant is completely fine next! i’ve been looking for something else to read ^w^
