For November 14th: If it makes you feel any better, I think most people do not frequent on their PCs to wander around Neocities. I think you should be okay! Unless you have friends who are into the indie web and are nosey at the same time.
@napreviewz Understandable! You do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. If you have to make up names and such, I'm sure your blog would still be interesting to read ^^

I know some very nosey people that are hard to trust...I'd probably be fine but years of experience have taught me to be extremely careful
