@caminus YES! A steam shovel! They were the first excavators and were retired bc of gas and electric. There’s a children’s book called Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel that I super recommend cause it’s so cute!! The irl steam shovels are so fun tho they creak and clank in such charming ways

you guys will not believe where I just was. it felt like a fever dream. I really do not think it was real. I was in another dimension full of steam locomotives, steam tractors, and engines. (WMSTR)
