found some really spectacular photographers recently that specialize in the photography of the appalachian region: stacy kranitz and rich-joseph facun. stumbled upon their stories by happenstance last night (from some thrillist article abt spoooky places in that region and my efforts to kinda research it) and ahhh.. i love these sorts of towns on the fringe and the people in them. i'm happy these photographers exist
