why is my status cafe widget not showing :') it works on a my local html file uaagh

which widget is it? i know due to neocities blocking scripts u gotta jump hoops for it

apparently it just doesn't work for neocities accounts made after 2024, but! i followed this very helpful tutorial by maphren (https://maphren.neocities.org/blog/posts/19-05-2024-surfing-waves-rss-guide#guide) which helps you create a rss feed similar to the widget if anyone else has the same problem :)

petrapixel also has a status cafe widget which is what i was using for mine, tho its a bit less customizable. the RSS feed is the one i also used for my blog page which 🙏 glad its an option
