re your comment on my accessability page: the light and dark mode buttons were actually inspired by a CSS property i just learned about! color-scheme: dark; and color-scheme: light; i used it for that pg in particualr bc its reletively unstyled. if you want custom styles for your dark and light modes youll prob have to make a style sheet for each

interestingly in css you can only apply it to html, it doesnt work applied to body (i may be wrong tho, i didnt dig too deep)

These are really great, thank you. I looked up a bit more about it and it looks like you can use media queries to adjust colour schemes with prefers-color-scheme.

Hey Neonbandit, your DeltaRune battle dialogue page gave me the inspiration to go back to an old piece of code where I was trying to do a visual novel type interface (it's still no way near finished) but I encountered a weird issue I was wondering if you could help me with. I'm glad to be of inspiration!! But I'll have to be honest, I'm just as fresh to JS :'D I had someone else make most of that script for me hehe QwQ I do want to learn so I could give it a look but I'll likely be unable to help much ;;

Unfortunately consolidating 3 different style.css sheets broke a few things on my site style-wise. Nothing life destroying but... yeah. It's getting a bit like jenga.😅

For example, I didn't even touch the breadcrumb menu and now it's broken. Probably something to do with how I used selectors on the nav element. Why do CSS selectors have to be so complicated? 😭

New comment on the Drawing Architecture in Perspective blog post about FromSoftware's gothic aesthetic (thank you, ohmi!) Plus, a more hidden update but web developers will appreciate. Managed to consolidate two separate style.css pages on the site. Now there is only one, using the magic of id tags and all: inherit.

An OpenShot bug was fixed so I could finally export my pixel art in Clip Studio Paint video (4 years late but still). It has a demo of using my CSP dithering brushes. You can hear my 3 months on T voice. 💜 https://youtu.be/f8IdhBIx3qM I'll upload this to my website soon.

Updated the guestbook and blog comment submission forms to have labels, focus attributes, and overall, just be accessible to screen readers (before they could not be tabbed into or got any audio feedback from the screen reader NVDA). Also removed the layout tables from the comments sections in the blogs too.

Big quality of life update. Finally fixed the broken breadcrumb menu to be accessible (I hid it before). Instructions here: https://www.aditus.io/patterns/breadcrumbs/ Also reversed the order of info in the title tag so unique info comes first (site name last). This is for my benefit as much as anyone elses, I was starting to get lost on my own website lmao

I hope that even if things are moving fast, you’re making the most of small moments <33 Congrats on the BA!! I remember feeling very similarly lost after earning my undergrad degree. Don’t be afraid to not know what’s next. Personally, I impulse built a site from scratch during my post-undergrad crisis, so who knows, maybe uncertainty will bring you to the next thing you love ♡
