Another reviewer for our site cut her hand badly last year with a pair I’d secateurs. I bought the exact same model secateur over the weekend since I’m doing a lot of gardening right now. Your story almost makes me too paranoid to use them!

Now there's a tool you definitely don't want to hurt yourself with! I'm glad my experience-based paranoia came across. I hope it only makes you paranoid enough to wear good gloves and be careful! And I hope your co-writer healed up well. It's such a hassle to have to type around a hand injury like that!

Somehow she managed to cut a chunk out of the palm of her hand, not a finger. Was holding plants she was cutting and got herself. It was last year so she’s fine now. But it looked painful. I’ve been neglecting the garden for years. She recommended the Felco 2 which is what cut her. I did get good gloves.

I felt this sensation the first time I donated blood and the nurses were concerned about me cycling home after, since they warned me the feeling could return. The reality was I recovered quickly and got home fine...

Thanks Brian! I hadn't even thought about how lucky it was that the wooziness hadn't set in until I got there. As much as this was a lesson in knife safety, it was also a lesson in the importance of maintaining composure and continuing to breathe despite being super freaked out!

Cool site. It's good to get your hands dirty with HTML and CSS! Even if you wind up using template-based stuff a lot, perhaps for a job or portfolio or something, it'll be that much more customizable!

thanks :) i'm still figuring out how to do stuff with html and css, and i find it much easier than using standard premade templates since i can customise my own code more easily. i've still got a long way to go with all this, but this is pretty much the beginning

I normally go for a cheap one too, but I was concerned my cheap one lacked abrasiveness, leading my dentist to criticise my teeth on the grounds that they weren't pearly white!
