I wasn't sure if they could be listed seperately. I turned the main index page into a splash page so that followers could see what projects I'm working on, and I don't have seperate Neocities accounts for them and I am not a supporter (yet!) who can have seperate domains for their site(s).

I enjoyed Star Wars a lot more before online trolls ruined it. (That goes for pro Disney and anti Disney fans who have to make trolling comments.)

It is hard to hear what they have to say, but they are truthful about it, unlike the politicians who try to sugar coat everything so they can continue to act in their own benefit, or that of their friends in the companies that make profit from ruining the planet and people's lives.

Among the first werewolf novels I read were the trilogy by Alice Borchardt. Unlike all the other werewolf books, they were more of an historical fantasy/horror (a little bit like Juliet Marillier's Celtic/druidry inspired novels, without the 'horror' aspect. When they were published, there wasn't even an urban fantasy genre as they were put in the general fiction categories. She also started writing an Arthurian

trilogy but only finished two of the books before she passed away. I don't know if I should list her werewolf books or not as they don't quite fit the urban fantasy definition.

Been extremely cold for the past couple of days, but at least it's making people stay at home (finally!) When I took Max out, it resembled an ice age apocalypse film.

I've started doing cross stitch again. One of the good things about this winter, is that we have had less gloomy days and I started a subscription for WOCS as I'd been without a regular mag for a while. (Stopped getting them regularly because I couldn't go out shopping.) It's time for some spring projects.

I've started reading Small Favour on the computer. It does save your place (I did wonder about that...) but I can't maintain my concentration on it as well as I can with a print book.

I have found digital versions of Small Favour and Turncoat that I can borrow. (Will put the link up to the library), but I hate reading on screen, especially long stories so I don't know how far I'll get into it. They have to preserve copyright, I suppose, so digital books aren't as comfortable to read as you'd like them to be.

One of the most irritating things about the lockdown I've found is that you can't replace stuff you need replacing if they get broken, etc, ether because nothing is in stock, they won't deliver it, you can't go out to get it or /if/ you can get it, you have to get it from some credit catalogue company and end up owing them more for things that should have been cheap.

There were nemes on facebook in March/April where folks had used the the time off work to do up their house because they didn't have time to do it before. Because of this problem, every home will end up looking like a shack.

One of the things about the old web (at least, that period of time when forums were THE THING, instead of social media like facebook, twitter, myspace, etc...), it was a lot easier to make friends over the internet because the forums created a social /and/ creative place to be. On the right forums you could share your webpages, post your creations and discuss things. It did help that the forums were usually based

around a subject (say, pets) or a fandom (like Star Wars, which would sometimes also attract other fandoms in similar genres.) It's harder now to find those communities. Social media at best has created a monoculture, and at worst a place for trolls and bullies to get upset
