a friend told me about 'dragula', but i hadn't found any way to watch it, so thank you for the link! it strikes me as the difference between circus performers [RPDR] and 'freaks and geeks'. rather than being an aesthetically accepted performance that falls well within the boundaries of societal 'good taste', it's about showing the ugliness inherent in that same society, and how it treats them cont.

as well as the 'ugliness' that is supposedly inside the outliers of society, art, thought, behaviour etc. it is purposefully unsettling, upsetting, and unnerving, because it holds up a mirror with very dark glass. oops, i wrote a thesis! great update? :)))

Hey! Love the chaos of ur website! I've been saying myself that one of the best things abt old school websites is how uniquely weird and unpolished they are. Feels like real people, as opposed to the clean white gallery space of social media apps. Also love ur username hehe

T_T thank u so much! Heh if i was rich i would totally build an artificial bat cave. If ur ever having a bat chat with someone who has that kind of prejudice/ paranoia, try informing them that bats eat mosquitoes. Usually turns their attitude right around lol

Bats are cool: a place I used to work at had a MASSIVE colony living in one of the building's structures, and would form huge bat "tornadoes" every fall. The building's owners also made it a point to protect that colony for environmental and pest control reasons as well, which was cool.

(ok I can't reply directly) that must be sooo cool to witness! Very decent of the building's owners to respect the bats too; i wouldn't expect that from a landlord lol

Omg!! Thank u!! Not yet lol, I haven't got them converted to PDFs yet. Tbqh I might not get crackin on the zines until the fall - got a lot of longboarding and moving across the country to do this summer. Genuinely so flattered that u asked tho
