i want to run virtualbox but i dont want to go into bios to turn virtualization on because: 1) computer likes to pretend my keyboard doesnt exist when its starting up so no amount of mashing delete will make it do anything 2) im clumsy i could break something and i like this computer. is there a way to force virtualbox to run without it

by the way for the keyboard thing its not that im getting the input wrong. the screen itself tells me to press delete to go into bios

okay now for the part I can't yet write in portuguese haha, "There are simply a lot of things I want to do in this life, I don't know if you feel that way too." this hits hard... there's just too many fun things to do, cool things to learn and create, read and watch, play and comprehend, sometimes I think life would be easier if I had no hobbies, but how bland would that be?

eu adoro pilates! estou fazendo uma vez por semana, mas assim que puder, farei mais vezes. sou de sp, adoraria garimpar por aí com vc um dia desses (não sou uma assassina, prometo), apesar de também querer saber pq você não gosta de fallout: new vegas >:( brincadeiras a parte, vc gostou da peça da Tarsila? eu estava com vontade de ver. bjs

@all não é que eu não tenha gostado do new vegas!! as 6 horas que eu passei jogando foram divertidas, e eu tenho certeza que poderia passar muitas outras horas jogando. mas tive a forte sensação enquanto jogava de que, se eu passasse 50h+ explorando o universo do new vegas, eu não sairia do outro lado de maneira... fundamentalmente diferente? tipo, senti que o jogo não iria mudar a minha vida, sabe?

e acho que era isso que eu queria/quero nesse momento, jogar coisas realmente *diferentes*, e não execuções competentes de algo que eu já vi antes, em outros RPGs no caso. eu valorizo bastante *novidade* e *surpresa* nas mídias que eu ~consumo~, tem a ver com isso também. o jogo é bem-feito!!

@saint-images PREACH my brother!!! so glad to hear it from you. makes me feel less alone! when I was younger I despaired at having too many hobbies -- I felt that I was broken in some way, that moving from one thing to another was wrong and dangerous. I used to wish that I was one of those people that only had one or two interests and focused entirely on them, like lifelong artists or athletes...

I don't believe that these days, not even close (it would be very bland, as you say), but I still despair when thinking about all that I want to do... the whole world is just so damn interesting my friend!! I just want to gobble it all up!! the challenge is to face it as an adventure and not as a checklist. but we curious folks will find a way, I'm sure.

@hellojoy eu gosto de pilates também!! eu fazia, mas parei quando me mudei, e agora voltei. esse estúdio que eu tô fazendo agora é bem animado e tô curtindo bastante. sobre a peça da tarsila: sendo sincero, eu não gostei muito!! eu não entendo muito de teatro, mas a atuação da Claudia Raia é completamente diferente da atuação de todo o resto do elenco, [...]

e isso gerou uma certa dissonância que me incomodou ao longo da peça. eu também achei a maioria das músicas meio qualquer coisa... me pareceu também que os produtores não souberam equilibrar se o enredo era sobre a vida da Tarsila ou sobre o modernismo de 22; por exemplo, ela foi casada com um cara por 3 anos e ele aparece durante 1h30 no espetáculo, [...]

em comparação ela foi casada com outro por 18 e ele aparece em 3 ou 4 cenas... o que faz sentido eu acho, ele não era tão importante pro modernismo, mas acaba diminuindo a aparente importância da história de vida da Tarsila em si? enfim eu não me arrependo de ter assistido, mas dentre os (admitidamente poucos) musicais nacionais que eu vi, não é um dos meus favoritos!!
