I caught a few glimpses of /asp/ before Hiroyuki opened the wrestling floodgates. Nice to see the alternative sportsers at least got /xs/ now.

I could be misremembering, but it wasn't ever "wrestling-free". Wrestling was restricted to only one thread or something, but then Hiroyuki renamed it from "Alternative Sports" to "Alternative Sports & Wrestling", and all the wrestling threads pushed out the alternative sports stuff, lots of which was niche stuff that only gets a few posts per thread a day.

My apologies, that sounded judgemental. Starting a webpage is hard work that doesn't always feel rewarding. I get that you want to stop but logging in and seeing I was followed by a new account who quits without me even having the time to browse the webpage caught me off guard.

I can relate to this. The Anglosphere used to look a lot more mythical and intelligent before the age of smartphones. In some ways it's a good thing that the illusion has been shattered.
