about me page rehaul... BEGINS... by that i mean just 11ty-beaming it, its insane how nice it is to have my HTML just be like. 7 lines to spit out all of my favourite games from a single JSON file .... damn once u go SSG u dont go back /silly

sighs yeah i think i might move my colour tcg to a separate website, itll make it easier to mentally handle it and not fill my storage here with a bajillion cards (yknow, if i can figure out deploying again...)

im not anywhere near the 1gb space since i image optimize things (120mb only), its more that it's just annoying to have my site update when i just do one minor tweak on that page LOL

No... unfortunately I can't find the website :') I remember being on it when I was first looking at Neocities sites for inspo and reference, but I only vaguely remember its appearance and if they changed the layout there's no way I'm ever gonna find it again :'D

this wins for the most basic bitch looking page with the most disgusting brain rotting logic hodgepodge of JSON and macros and HTML and markdown all in one file. but she sure works, and i can write big chunks of text in markdown ... while having simple stuff like age + etc in json....... https://i.ibb.co/W4dkxp0r/image.png ... i cant wait to never use macros again LOL

ough yeah the oc page conversion to 11ty might be what does me in ... macros are hurting my brain ... blocks i kinda get, it's the way to do 'different chunks' depending on what you write/overwrite in the OC page ... but macros to control the different template u might use ... rubs my skull (i think i like Kinda Get it but i need to fuck around)

i also wonder if scss is worth trying to integrate if i’m remaking my site from zero anyway… either that or i find some way to have a single css file with my colours that i import to other css files (like my gallery)

should be doable with a separate variables.css file that you just declare in the head before the main style.css, if i'm understanding you correctly 🤔

holy shit i should make a shrine for all of my favourite childhood games and have button tabs that change the CSS depending on which game you choose (tbf i gotta actually make a list cause i got at least 5-8 games i can talk abt…) … maybe ill write a blog post first abt my fave games then filter to what i wanna shrine
