TIL that aria-hidden makes alt text on images nuked even if you have it written in the HTML, which for images with links is a no-no for accessibility (i gotta revisit all my pages eventually)

I checked quickly, and seems that you could set the "hidden" instead: "The hidden attribute is new in HTML5 and tells browsers not to display the element. The aria-hidden property tells screen-readers if they should ignore the element." So what I'm getting from this is that "hidden" is for visual display and "aria-hidden" is direct note for screen-readers to ignore the thing completely.

websites not loading again ... neocities has definitely been having some weird hiccups in the last day or so; it was resolved eventually yesterday but 🤔 (i forgor theres a status webpage but yeah F for website loading LOL)

@drinkmoretea yep!!! i saw a video abt it recently that distilled it down to 'i needed a very simple, barebones, not bogged down in plugins thing to keep notes about my learning of softwares' aka unreal engine and blender and im like ... WAO... thats me ... so i began to look into it

ironically obsidian is less complicated than notion for me, but notion i get distracted with making things look nice where as with obsidian i just … write. i end up using notion more for just tracking things that need databases like … honestly all my commissions i’ve gotten over the years :P or boring income stuff like commissions

@kkbkkb its more that it was not seeing that i moved them from uppercase folder names to lowercase T_T so i had to straight up move them to a new folder, push so it deleted the old folders, then renamed them back.......
