went to the horses again! this time i walked a few horses indoors 'cause they can't be turned out for long right now (very cold). Very very happy, yay, horses, and i'm helping them a little bit!

yall today i cared for and rode a horse for the first time since forever! and he (the horse) (name's Callants) was magnificent and stole a bit of my heart! and i want to brush and pat horses forever (riding is a good bonus) and i'm Explodes. seriously this gave me big emotions. i love horsies...

New audio log entry! For some reason git detects new filly fill renders of old unchanged fillouts as new files, so there's the screenshot of "Machine" by BUCK-TICK as the main image. Ok, bigger-than-usual website update - i now have an audio log! I wanted to ramble about music that i like a lot for a long time, and it comes with a bonus of someone potentially discovering something cool. For now there's just two songs on there, but i plan to try and do one song a week.

ooooh my audio log (song rambles) is coming together soooo stylish. a bit of a style flip relatively to the rest of the site but i wanted it to be a bit minimal to not interfere with the listening experience, cause there will be many different songs. i think it's stylishly minimal though

If you saw an update from my site - no you didn't :3 i prettied up my templater (source @ https://gitea.com/AuberyLis/FillyFill for the curious) and am setting up a little structure for it! It's actually working, is surprisingly alright, and i'm so happy about how quickly pages load without any in-browser JS/JSON requests. I think static compiling will be the vector of my webdev infra development for the next year ๐

Yeah, i like this a lot. It's much faster on the user's end and will be much easier to make into a GUI-controlled thing once i iron out the engine logic. The key to a faster user-made website was to reduce javascript all these years, Who Would've Known! I will eventually migrate the outfit log and the kandi museum to filly fill as well.. and then all will be good and happy. She's so fast and smart for a littel filly!

filly fill is working locally and pretty much does what i want it to do. give it some time and i may finally have a music review section. there's so much music i want to tell about!! and that you likely don't know of. you totally want to listen to a 2010s russian ska band's song about mulder and scully from x files. with a thick accent to boot.

After two years of trying i finally admit that js filling + json db don't work for a universal and scalable personal website subsystem. Deciding to tap into locally compiled websites (basically weird templaters) by trying to make one. Working name is... filly fill :D maybe by making something this dumb and straightforward i will finally start writing about music etc on here

generating html locally and uploading it seems to be a more robust idea than having everyone's computers run my js and construct pages on the fly on their own. but then there's a bunch more questions and details. so much, in fact, that maybe it's better to just edit html manually. but i Cannot.

@plushspace yeah i've used LSDJ since... basically 2014? I have a fuck ton of DMG music released as Astro The Fox, but this one's gonna be the first proper DMG/LSDJ release *in a heckin while*. Also i'm thinking of not waiting long and releasing it tomorrow because bandcamp friday...
soon there will be a new version of my character greeting you at the main page ^w^ i'm so happy! The fox version will pop up once every N days, but it mostly will be the new horseful iteration - it turned out absolutely amazing. But it will have to wait until my next album, because she's on its cover art, too - and i'd like to avoid spoilers ;3

You can't believe how happy i am tbh. It's been ages since i felt like my fursoner reflects me, i felt like i have to upkeep my brand-image and roll with the one that headlines my project Elysian Tunes. But i changed so much that slightly remixing the old main sona and blending them with a side sona (the result is currently greeting you at my homepage) barely helped. >>

One of my recent tumblr posts reads like that kind of. poetry where you don't rhyme and the rhythm is on vacation? so i formatted it to my liking and put it here. I like it. It's half tongue-in-cheek "haha look Poetry", half dead serious "i accidentally almost made myself cry by typing out what's in my head". I had some more ideas like this that i might type out someday
