Things were better way back then! (ok, some). A thought on book websites/blogs/etc: some just give me anxiety of knowing that my life is too short and I'm not dedicated enough (e.g. 'here's 789 books I read in January') and some inspire instead. I always found yours inspiring and relaxing. More like a library, less like a high school reading list.
Thanks! And the way back then comment is slightly ironic. Computers have changed some aspects of life for the worse I think, but I’m not one of those people who thought the 80s were great. Glad I’m not stressing you, too! I try to make the site about loving books. I’m not into the idea of competing with them. I think that would just ruin the reading experience.
