every question matters. i am not immune to being metaphorical when im writing. when im talking about my life though, metaphors, if they occur, are accidents. in many situations i describe a real experience as real as i can and people end up interpreting it as a metaphor. i dont mind that. sometimes a "metaphor" which i did not see as one becomes a metaphor in the language of the reader. i dont mind that.
unwarranted idea: try to take everything literally, and then seperately, take everything metaphorically, and then evaluate, and then see which one feels better
idk if youre being metaphorical on purpose. i wonder if you are ok... although that's probaly a meaningless question to ask
