casually dropping my most vulnerable blog post ever about how I healed from trauma that defined my life for more than two decades: https://lostletters.neocities.org/2024/07/04/IFS-therapy
That was a really good read. Happy to know that you're doing well. I'm watching the videos for IFS therapy now.
IFS is really good stuff. Self-trust goes a long way, especially for reaching that moment of connecting with an exile- I swear that's the hard part, getting to that point. You've done something to be proud of here.
Wrote out my formula for figuring out how to spend and actually enjoy unstructured "free" time as someone with ADHD: https://lostletters.neocities.org/2024/06/27/ADHD-enjoying-unstructured-time
love this. I have a card deck roll table for house chores/tasks for when I need to tidy but I am so overwhelmed by the idea of tidying 😁
i LOVE this!!! scratches my spicy brain! i hope you keep us posted with your progress and if it helps you!
I'm glad he was there too- I think that one incident decided more about my life than anything else I've experienced. It taught me that the connections between people matter.
i've been chronically out of touch with the muse club but this comment led me to read the piece referred to and i just wanted to commend you for it. it's so beautifully written and i think it encapsulated the prompt perfectly. you're making me want to write again!!!!
Now that the code jam is over, I updated the page with a link to the other submissions + a link to the passport stamp xandra generously designed for this page. Gotta go to each submission to fill up your passport with stamps <3
Learn how to knit: https://lostletters.neocities.org/2024/08/18/learn-to-knit
Beautiful sweater! And good advice. I hate to see people give knitting up because they think it's something you can learn in a few hours, or jump into projects that are just too complicated for beginners. It really is a gift that keeps giving if you invest the time to build skills.
Thanks so much! I totally agree, knitting is a slow hobby, but a worthwhile one for sure.
