As far as im concerned, my site was already scraped in the initial GPT3 training phase. I didnt get ROBOTS.TXT into my index directory until id been online for 6 months and OpenAI admitted to ignoring it anyway. Ive been scraped from here til tuesday and theres really nothing more that generative AI can get from me at this point...

I don't know what aspiring tech CEO needs to hear this, but Generative AI doesn't work. It doesn't look good on proposals anymore, it certainly doesn't benefit anyone, and it will make your core userbase abandon you the moment you mention it. You're not going to get rich doing it, neither are you going to "diversify the models" by adding to them. It's like using a bottle of school glue to drive a nail into metal...

The models don't work, and no amount of diversification is going to make them work. So just put down the manifesto and walk away. Elon and Mark don't even know you exist.

at the same time i was reformatting the 15 essentials for mega drive page i also changed one of the recommendations. I think im the only one who likes "chaos engine", so i changed that one to aladdin.

hacking the internet archive because you're protesting american foreign policy in israel is like petitioning to join the UN at the international house of pancakes. it doesnt make sense and you just end up looking stupid.

its incredibly stupid, internet archive isn't beneficial to usa only. it's incredibly important to archiving and sharing polish media, a lot of older movies not available on any streaming services or even piracy sites, they mostly exist on cds/vhs or on the tv. same with books, photography, tv shows, websites, pc games. losing this would be devastating worldwide :-(

plus the reason the hacker gave doesnt make sense either. it would only work if archive.org is actively censoring information coming out of palestine, but it doesnt. also how much personal info did he think he'd be able to steal? most contributors are trying to remain anonymous. i personally have 4 diff accts with 4 diff purposes.

AI is a 10mil truck train hurtling at mach 3 toward a set of wooden buffers next to an abyss and its only a matter of time before it gets there and destroys the fortunes of every reasonably well-off investor and tech CEO in silicon valley...
Im not worried about my site anymore and I would hate for my mutuals and everyone else on this host to do something rash that would result in destroying the community they've built away from corporate feudal social media here.
