Yet another gem I hadn't heard of until now that I feel like I'd be really into. Escape Velocity was in my mind the entire time, and then you mentioned it as well! Smaller, more detailed maps have always been my preference over larger, more empty maps, so Hardwar's approach sounds great.

I recommend it, it has a bit of old jank but held up exactly as I remembered, which is shocking!

Hello fellow human! My two cents: I thought I was not a creative person until one day I stumbled on the specific outlet that clicked with me. So my unsolicited advice to everyone is keep trying everything and one day you may surprise yourself and find your 'thing'. I have 4 reviews on the go, but instead of doing them I'm starting making gifs for all my old articles. Believe it or not I genuinely don't have too much spare time, it just looks that way.
I actually nearly got the Mac version of Fate of Atlantis, alongside Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max, as I had placed a bid on an auction for a collection of them, but I accidentally slept through the auction's closing time and my bid got sniped. Kicking myself more now for missing out on that auction after reading this!
