hello friends!! so, about that last post 6 months ago.. i never got around to updating rattusgarden over the summer. but we are back and hopefully for better : ) i'm going to be rebuilding this whole thing over the next few months and im excited to be back and to see familiar websites

i also had a pretty okay webdev glow up over my summer internship so at this point it is embarassing for me to have rattusgarden be completely unusable on mobile and incompatible with basic accessibility fixes. as such ive decided to soft hide all pages that are not yet responsive. i'll be updating as i fix more things : )

so i'm trans, fat, disabled, poc, and many other marginalizations. if you are transphobic and racist, you do not have a place anywhere near me or the spaces i run. i have zero tolerance for fash, i will gladly denounce racists esp if they're white, and i do not fuck around w/ this. just wanna make that clear. bash the fash.

[NOT VAGUEPOST SO I LOOK NORMAL] anyways i've spent the past few days moving from streaming/spotify to local file music listening. biiig thank you to the freyr-js project for making getting 3000+ songs off a liked list very very easy for me, and yt-dlp for filling in the rest :P

but also i do have One (1) tech question; is there any way to make it so that album covers/cover.jpg won't show up in my photos and photopickers on android? don't think i can use .nomedia for this, when i finish porting everything i'm going to try just renaming them to folder.jpg but idk if that'll mess with existing m4a metadata

I can't answer that, but I'll say that Deemix has been great for local file music. It helped me rebuild my music library when my phone's SD card died last year.
