Everyone help https://files.catbox.moe/tomud5.png I spent the last hour trying to open this oil bottle but I can't 😭 I got rid of the plastic but it won't screw open and I can't find the seal!! if you have paper towels, you can use them to grip the cap better!! you can also use foam grips if you have them :3 if thats not the issue, try prying it open with a sharp object like scissors!! (B CAREFUL THOUGH 😭😭)

I found the anime I wrote about a few days ago! But I got the character descriptions and plot totally wrong. It's called flip flappers, a real cute anime I used to see a bunch of times on Hidive ads in 2018. Her saying you can tie red scarfs really straight has been stuck in my mind for YEARS.

A funny note about this ad was it'll send little me into a panic because I thought the first girl was part of a *hushed voice* 'hentai' so I would scramble for the remote to put the volume down real low. Also a lot of Hidive ads were louder than any other ads that ran so I would also pray I didn't wake my mom up.

I love your idea of focusing on small joys! I have surprise daffodils in my yard & just finished/sent out my backlog of film, too. Waiting for & finally receiving my scans/negatives is one of my fav joys. Also, perfumes! I love choosing an indie maker & getting a bunch of samples. Like cloudcover said, it’s a really fun rabbit hole to go down (I have lots of recs if you, very specifically, wanna smell like a bakery)
Nice journal entry. I'm also awaiting the arrival of spring. My area has a bit more of winter yet, but there have been glimpses lately. It's really been keeping me going. Also, love your collections. I also collect old postcards, though my collection is not nearly as cool as yours!
Couldn't agree with you more- it is small joys and radical optimism that will help us make it through. I hope that you get into perfumes! I did sometime back in 2023 and it's been so much fun. My one major advice for you would be to buy samples before buying full sized bottles.
