I actually really didn’t like this particular skit, because it’s just another way we glorify and romanticize domestic abuse. To be fair the food she was trying to serve your family is disgusting. However, no one deserves to be denigrated like that. So this wasn’t funny it was just cruel.

I find the sketch sad, not funny. It took me a bit to figure out why, but here’s why: Nadine is working hard to try and make something delicious to feed her family. She really have over think too much of making her 'overnight salad' because it's too much junk food in with the salads and that's why her husband and daughter hates it. And using the house radiator is not how to cook breakfast or make a salad that way. In the end she killed herself for eating her “overnight salad” all to her self, she's really never thought about the conseqences.😜🥗💥🤢
