HELLO WORLD ! i completely rebuilt my site in span of these 2 weeks. after serving me for around a year, this website deserved an upgrade :] the old version of website is FULLY archived if you want it; many pages are transferred to new version of the website; new pages are added ; there's new features; etc etc . i know some will highly prefer the older version, and that's alright, but i am excited! upd:BUGS R FIXED

since for a very long time i felt like my old design restricted me to act only in a way that fits a very particular image (as well as made me deal w/ a lot of bugs and unconventional features). for everyone who have stayed with me for long enough to see me grow like this on neocities: thank you . i am genuinely so happy to be here. have a nice week ! sending much much love and strength to anyone who needs it. 💛

also friends does anyone know a better "pause all gifs button" solution other than keeping 2 files (one a static img and one gif) for each visual and replacing the extension with the appropriate format? a javascript thing rather than asking ppl to rely on browser extensions. i like moving things but they're too tiring to look at !!

^ check the response up, its good . my new version of the website that im posting soon actually has "pause all gifs" - and i thought of using libraries for it but ive realized that solaria's method of having a png and a gif and a little script that replaces all gifs w pngs seems bulky and annoying but was the one easiest for me to set up and get used to. i hope you'll find what works for you! 🩷

@youareinthetides and @strawberry-transneu thank u both for the suggestions! there's a few interesting things in the stackoverflow question that i'll check out but after looking into them it also makes sense why Solaria's method might be easier to setup, Avrum. might do that instead x) thank you both for input!

hello friends! i have been slowly having revelations that despite my best attempts to be ™authentic, i was actually stressing way too much about how rattusgarden is percieved by other people. plus life stuff is chaotic right now so i am again going back to slow updates. it's been fun to lurk and see the cool things everyone is doing with websites recently! i hope you all are doing well : ) 💚🍊
