Buying reduced food is a waste of money, and I'm not talking about offers, but food that is near it's sell by/used by date because it's gone off. You end up paying for the same thing twice since you have to throw out the reduced item as it's gone off before you get a chance to use it.
The thing I dislike about USB charges for everything is that: 1. They get lost, 2. They aren't attached to a plug. 3. They get damaged easily. 4. Not all USB charges fit all of your devices.
I've just changed the ink cartridge on the printer and no wonder why people complain about the amount of plastic in these things when I've just pulled off a massive hard plastic orange cover off them.

I only need to get hold of First Fall and the Skies of Pern, and the Pern books written with/by Todd McCaffrey.
If there is one advantage to not liking a lot of modern fantasy publications, it's that I get a chance to look at ones I would have liked to have got years ago, but didn't have the funds for them while I was collecting the book series that I was enjoying. The main issue now is finding them.
I have been rewatching Channel 5's All Creatures this week and compared to the BBC series, I always feel like you're only getting quick glimpses of what's going on, whereas the books and the BBC series are more like you're living along side them. It's the problem with the truncation that seems to have become the norm for modern tv.
This afternoon, I am going to attempt to sort out my boxes again... I hope to have my study/hobby room at least tidy so that I can use it at the weekend as I am doing a course that requires zoom on Saturday and I want it tidy so that I can use it. Should have sorted it months ago.

Now, I normally save things to my computer, but in this case, I can't even find that... So, it will have to be an unknown source, for now. I managed to find the other things by searching for the first line or two but in this case it's not coming up, so I suspect it's probably been deleted, which happens sometimes on the internet.

The last one I had written down is from a book in my collection, so that will be credited, the rest are all online.
I have been regularly looking in the RSPCA shop since I got the Anne McCaffery books from there to see if there are more and was lucky enough to find one today. A Pern fest is in order soon.

I decided that a page of references was better than listing them in the margin, as it has gotten quite long now. (There are some books and articles that I've collected which I've yet to link to as I've not had time to look through them all yet - I've been in the info collecting stage for the site.)

Today, I am going to be sorting out some of my craft stuff as it looks like the autumn weather is coming early this year - I put quite a lot of it into the garage over the summer to make room in the back room where I want to keep my hobby stuff but the season has caught up with me. The garage gets too damp over winter to store items there and I worry that it will cause them to become mouldy if they are kept in there
