Yep! I think something like it is finally coming to CSS soon, but who knows if it'll handle overlapping notes well/at all.

Every time i look at what sites are linking to me in my analytics i get faintly sad. I gotta ward off the “Making A Smol Old Indie Yester Free Web Personal Garden Commonplace Book Is A Revolutionary Act” crowd somehow, if someone’s linking to me and their site’s only other page is a manifesto about how Mark Zuckerberg personally smashed every Geocities server they’ve severely misunderstood why i tend to my website

I’m really starting to get the sneaking suspicion that they see me call myself "Mx." and immediately decide that i must also have a website for Principled Philosophical Slash Ideological Reasons rather than because i like posting about my favourite things and stuff i did. That’s my only explanation

That second sentence is true btw, /latbs has a parallax scrolling orrery that shows up on Chromium browsers but not my own Firefox

Feels weird saying my site was established in 2017 when literally none of the pages on it now date back to then. There was some real ship of Theseus stuff going on in the early days there

99% of old paintings of forests seem to be the butt-ugliest yellow you’ve ever seen, which i assume is just weathering over time, but it makes my job mighty annoying when what i’d really most like is a lovely viridian shade

We are so back. Back during the Great Hiatus i decided against porting this page over to the new version of the site because it was a faff and quickly got dated, but i decided on a whim to do some behind-the-scenes wrangling so it can be updated automatically with each passing year

For the record i am blaming the spaghetti entirely on Javascript being Javascript. What do you *mean* there are two different import/export syntaxes and i was using the unofficial one the whole time.
