Thank you so much ! (´ ∀ `) for the hover effect, I just applied some css filters to make it grayscale & I added a hue-rotate filter on the links for the color transition ! Idk how to explain it well sorry, but you can take a look at my code here where it says "filter": http://arataka.neocities.org/css/shrines.css

Is there a microblog site with No user interaction ❓ I'd use pikidiary if there was an option to disable likes/replies on posts T_T or I could code it manually but I wanna be able to make posts from my phone without opening the editor lol

Status.Cafe sounds pretty close to what you're looking for! I tend to use it whenever I feel like gushing/complaining/shouting into the void, and not much else.

hi!! the best way ive seen people use piki more like a blog than a social site is 1. locking your posts, and 2. not following many people! I might add an option that automatically locks all your new posts instead of having to do it manually... thanks 4 using the site!!!

@graybox this also made me realize that theres a bug with the lock option that still allows people to like the post,,, stopping replies works just fine tho (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠)

Almost done filling out the gallery...! I just have to look through my archive of 2023 & early 2024 drawings and it'll pretty much be complete! God I cant stand looking at my old art sometimes Lol but I really can't wait to complete it so I can move on to smth else !!!

I relate to everything you said in your post so much. I went on a very similar rant about internet anonymity last month... (https://goooby.neocities.org/blog#anon if you'd like to read) While I agree with people who say modern social media is pretty terrible, customizing your internet experience is so SO IMPORTANT....

Oh my god I get this so much. Genuinely hate how hard it is to stay anonymous, one tiny slip up & people can find your job address like you Really gotta be careful & it sucks !!! I agree with everything you said, Im all for curating one's online experience because that's the only way to make social media more bearable
