I've been thinking on this for a while, but I'll be permanently(?) moving my website over to nekoweb, I'll keep this all up, with a splash screen that lets you go to the site or view what the neocities version ends up as, but for now I think this is the direction I want to go, since Nekoweb has aspects that are simply more appealing to me than neocities. I'll still do something for 300 nekoweb followers maybe... +

but this is what my conclusion is I think. I will however be checking in occasionally, because I enjoy the social aspects of neocities, and may perhaps return back one day.. we will see.

mainly what the biggest benefit is to me is the limited file restrictions unlike neocities

yeah that's another good point. the entire DS line is abandonware, so you can just get ROMs from no-intro on the Internet Archive.

you can always compress your images. I do that to keep my art files small for my website and it doesnt mess with the quality much at all.
