Just out of curiosity: how many of you got the chance to live the Flipnote era? I did enjoy it a bit as a kid- my drawing skills sucked and I couldn't really animate anything cool, but loved watching the animations and listening to the songs lol. Still find really cool that Sudomemo became a thing after Hatena died...

I lived through the late-ish flipnote era. I browsed through flipnotes at my uncle's house around 2012-2013-ish, and i remember showing my poor family some flipnotes I found hilarious ^^;

@1337nightbug I think I got into it around 2011-2012 lol. I was quite fond of the stickmen battles and a whole bunch that were about late 2000s memes! Good times :]

I was late to it all, started in like 2017. That whole era looked like the most fun time to do art online, but it's probably ust me.

@theran Ooh, so you got into it much later, I see! It was around that time that I got myself back into Flipnote too :P I went back to it in 2016, and only discovered Sudomemo in 2017.

Thinking of adding a section to my site where i review old videogames. Besides comics, i mostly used the internet back in the aughts to read reviews for obscure japanese shooting games, and i feel like i could help to bring some of that energy back.

The site is back to WIP mode! Lots of weird changes as I realised I could just make folders into pages by giving them their own index. I know, my coding prowess is unmatched. Anyhow, expect a lot more OC infodumping to make it onto the site in the near future. Maybe some other weird shit too. Woohoo!
