procured Club Classics Vol. One, Chicken Run, and The Secret of NIMH. almost bought Lenny Kravitz Greatest Hits but I have a complex about owning an artist's (who i proclaim to love [yes, love, i know the haters say he's derivative, i don't care!]) greatest hits CD before my favorite album (in this case, Mama Said).

also almost bought Any Given Sunday (love love LOVE a sports drama) and Ocean's Twelve (love the first and have it already on DVD) but decided to just get the Secret of NIMH because i was at the thrift and prioritizing clothes. + Secret of NIMH was like the only kid's animated movie my dad could stand so my family watched it a lot when i was younger #nostalgia

my site was never "minimalist" in the slightest but the first version had a "nav bar" of sorts and everything laid out clearly. wondering if i should return to that. worried i've reached the point where all that i've made [and want people to see] is under too many layers.

i don't know ! i like what i have [a lot] and obviously the point is to like what i have and not worry about if my content easily consumable/findable for an audience, but... ha... that is a worry. and who knows maybe the minimalism beast is lurking within and i just have to free her [oh lord]. i should just make a second site or smth. is that even worth the time?!

You've got so many cool things going on, but sometimes it can be nice to create a second/auxillery site, if not to try new things that dont work on the first site, but also to get a fresh perspective.

@kingdomofakibaten thanks sarah ᓚᘏᗢ, yes you should try haiku-ing! i find it very meditative. i have thought about doing tattoo/body mod page but haven't figured out the best way to display other than straight images of my body LOL, maybe scanning is the move....

...expression of self, displaying both ownership and release of body so would like to make a little web thing for it. probably will not do images of myself directly but might scan some of my tattoos like i did once before, even if just to showcase some of the beautiful art i've been given. touched on this in blog, but tis that time of year again when i feel weird about who i am so i must get another tattoo.

which. is maybe not the greatest coping mechanism but also. we are all expending energy trying to translate our selves into someting that is receivable to other people, and this is just one way that happens to be beautiful and freeing. something something bodies are prisons/palaces/temples/shrines/homes/vessels/mirrors/windows.

but also sometimes articulating my philosophy i think comes off as shallow because a) i dont even have very many body mods or anything crazy and b) obviously we are all more than our bodies blah blah. wow this was a lot ! sometimes you just have to release the thought to the void i guess, but i've definitely run out of comments now :p
