This probably explains why a DVD release of the BBC/Netflix production has never been made, and why lots of merchandise relating to the BBC/Netflix adaptation suddenly vanished. When I was looking through those old Farthing Wood Friends mags, I came across an article about swallows that showed a photo of them gathering on telephone wires. It used to be a common sight in late summer through to autumn. They'd gather together like that before setting off for their migrations to escape the winter. That was in the late 80's-mid 90's. Now, there are so few of them that you don't see them doing -

that at all. I find it really sad that something which I used to see as a child in nature no longer happens. It's something that you wouldn't expect to occur in your life time and you can see how animals which had huge populations can crash to almost nothing.

I'm not sure about this forum I am on. A weird thing I noticed - a couple of characters are actively taking part in roleplay on there, but there's no app for them. I just find it slightly odd...

distinct to the admin ones. I find it odd because on twitter there was a role player who pretended to be two different people and had two distinct writer accounts and played some very powerful characters. One of the reasons they did it was because they didn't want people to see that they were getting tons more rp than a lot of other people were.

I don't mind folks 'getting lots of rp' that's not an issue. It's the pretending to be different people and if it was a regular member behind these accounts then they would have to do the apps like everyone else. Heck, I don't even mind people rping with themselves if they need to tell a story. That's fine, but I had lots of problems with the person on twitter god-modding characters and I just don't like this sort of

Getting the synopsis's done for the Dresden Files books today of the ones I've read. Would like to do a small review on what I thought about them, etc, but I started making Mean Streets after I had begun reading them and was well into the series by then. (I might save that idea for when I start a new series.) I'm getting near to the end of the series now, and into the hardbacks I have.

There was a time when I used to create lots of link buttons for fan sites. I don't do it as much now. I find it's quite a time consuming thing to do and there aren't that many good free image programs that has all the features I need, or is that easy to use.

Just about finished the Rohan house for now. There's a few free spaces for rugs (which I didn't know what to do with), and some spaces outside. I've not really done anything with the ground floor of the stable. I have plans for that. As usual there aren't enough hooks in the right places, but not as bad as some. The outside is probably a bit too big for my liking but at least there are plenty of hooks, which is an

improvement over the outside of the Gondor ones (and for a lot of the regular housing too.) I think that the house might have benefited from being smaller. One of the problems with the Gondor housing is that it is too big, but at least the Rohan housing is a bit cosy looking. When I get around to it, I will be putting cosmetic pets in the stable.

Finally got around to painting that fence... Started it a couple of years ago. It was supposed to have been to keep our rescue border collie Colin in the garden because we didn't have one and he was a bit of a guarder. Was always worried that he would run out and bite someone walking past. He died of anaemia before we could get it up. Last year, I couldn't finish it because you couldn't get hold of the paint used

So, because of the Rohan house update, you can display your fav mounts at your Rohan house, and turn your cosmetic pets into decorations for your house. You get some "free" slots for your mounts when you buy a house or you can add them later with mithril coins. You need mithril coins to turn your cosmetic pet into decoration. These cost 25 mcs each. If you are VIP, you get points with your subscription, so you could

use the points with your sub to add the pets and mounts. Now, I have practically wasted mithril coins using the stable travel system and teleporting me back to npcs when getting back to them is confusing/time consuming, so what is the fuss about this? It's not that much. If you wait for double points sales, etc, you can even get mithril coins for 'free'. Folks just like to moan about stuff.

Getting 25 mithril coins with your VIP points isn't really that expensive, either. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy mithril coins for this purpose, but if I have some left over, then I'd use points up this way.
