Random question folks, but I've heard of a Neocities Discord server. Is it worth the shot? Asking cause I personally dislike huge servers (mainly just use it for my close friends and a small server of ours), but I still like the thought of people sharing their web design journeys and being able to reach out for each other for tips. I'm curious to hear what you people have to say :]

i've been wanting to join a webmastery related discord server tbh......but i also rly hate servers that have more than 100-ish members, rly sucks bcos i was thinkin abt joining dimden's server but i just can't handle ittt urggghghg

Aghh, same here :'] The reason my friends' server worked is because there are only 15-20 people active every day, with 3-6 being the ones who make most interactions lol. I would love to join a niche community of web designers, but ye, same boat as you :'V

The closest thing I've got was the Juice Bar BBS, but since most people in it are busy with life, the place is kinda dead for now .<. If anyone feels like creating a small community like that on Discord, I'll have to think about it

i just started a server and its not 2 popular :] u could join us and your friends 2 and then you dont have to deal with making a server and can just get all the good parts!

Well, you could try Poppy's. There's a good chunk of inactive users mostly from curious people clicking the link on our sites but it's pretty much just me and around 10 or so active users. We mostly talk coding and rats and gay stuff.

I have a few questions on how to stylize the audio player... do all of the buttons need to be divs too, or they need to be buttons or images? I'm just curious

the buttons can be any html element. buttons divs h1s doesnt matter!

@webcatz Ahh, thank you! One last thing though- Do I need to keep the divs empty for that matter, or put the icons I made for the buttons inside?

I like the codepen idea better, cause that way you'll already have a demo of the player for other people to see too. I'll consider the Discord option too

Huh, it works just fine for me :'1 I know I'll have to figure out a better way to fit the images with links into the div, so the weird behavior might be that. I'll be revamping the resources corner too

Guys, I need some more help again :'] I've been looking for tutorials on how to make a custom audio player, but everything seems so convoluted. Do you happen to know of good layouts I could check out and edit to better suit my aesthetic? Any help will be super appreciated!

if u want something you can style completely urself (and have a tiny bit of js experience), i have a https://webcatz.neocities.org/lib/audio-player.js that you just give a tracklist and html elements to and it makes it all work

I tried applying some type of responsiveness to the main screen, at least for bigger screens. I'm still trying to fix the alignment of my pages, cause those margins refuse to centralize on the screen >:1 If anyone has any ideas, I'll gladly listen to em

I tried to make this work (ur website is amazing btw): i centered the grid by putting `justify-content: center;` on it, removing its margin, and removing the fixed width from the body

Well... here it is, folks. The promised main page revamp. I managed to fix a whole lot of issues with responsiveness here (specially since you NEED to be able to click the button or properly scroll down), and almost everything works well on smaller screens. Except D.O.M. I'm still figuring out how to make him responsive without pushing stuff around >:1

My next priority is revamping the home page's layout a lil' bit. Tweaking some details, adding some buttons, a new pagedoll, more ads... I'll see what I'll do to improve it. My about page is also on the to-do list!
