Okay so to temporarily fix the embed looking bad issue it will only use an embed on mobile since it didnt look too bad there, but on pc its just a little computer playing a "video" and a link asking if you wanna go to my channel, so idk, not really the same thing but for now it looks kinda cool?

hey maybe this sounds super dumb and overcomplicated, but does anyone know how to get the title + thumbnail of the most recent youtube video on a channel and then spit them back out onto a web page to make a 'custom video embed' kind of thing? I just dont like working with the actual youtube embed stuff, its so ugly and clunky :/

i spent countless hours working on my shrine for a box office failure horror movie from 7 years ago that i knew ultimately would be self-indulgent — i think it's an excellent way to have an outlet for your interests and embarrassment will only serve to hinder you because everyone's archive site for everything was niche and weird at one point.
