It's in a blog post on our About/Blog page this morning, but I'm so happy about finishing a project unlikely to interest anyone else, that I thought I'd say it here, too. I've finally finished indexing all 85 Federalist Papers outlines from that reading project. this is nicely worded... posting work on social media feels like a chore to me with how much planning and strategizing is involved. and as you said, the process feels impersonal and can grate on your self esteem...by comparison, curating your own artistic space just feels so freeing.

i enjoyed your manifesto! i wrote some similar thoughts on my diary after my frustration with posting art on twitter and streaming it on twitch reached a breaking point. that part about professionalism in art is especially important. archiving and appreciating your own art is valuable even as a hobbyist because hobbies and art enrich us. as a viewer, i love seeing all the work put in to creating and displaying it

You didn't do anything wrong in this. It's not your job to reform her, I know you want to do good but trust me it's not your responsibility. She's old enough to make her own decisions and understand the ramifications of them. That's her burden, not yours.
