i am so sick of ai integration. im so sick of companies doubling down on ai integration. im sick of people who just throw their hands in the air and go "welp nothin i can do, better just use it an be happy about it" or "hey cool now i never need to use my brain for anything ever again". i've been saying this for 3 years, i have nothing original to say anymore.

Cheers, i've got an old Xiaomi Redmi 2 it'll work on, it's got cyanogen mod on it. obviously the phone's ancient now by modern standards, but it might be worth a go to test it out, then maybe buy a newer compatible phone, but I tend to mainly use a PC - i've never really been a smartphone person!

you try to get a freelance voice-acting or web dev gig, the market is saturated by ai. you look for a new car, there's an ai powered automatic parking system. you want to park your car downtown, the metres all need smartphone apps with ai integration. do i need to keep going or do you understand?

this shit is making my job a million times more elaborate than it needs to be - editing isnt even fun anymore its just fucking annoying. i know your ass didnt write that. i know your ass didnt even proof read that. whats the point in me giving any time to it.

I work with documentation and I review a lot of people's stuff and I'm like, this doesn't even follow the most basic accessibility structure. everyone at my department got 6 hours of training, and now they just use AI and don't even check it. "co-pilot said it was accessible" Cool but you didn't put any headings here and that's the literal most basic thing that you could do for accessibility.
I'm so angry on their behalf. by doing this at your job, you're proving the point they want to make. why are you allowing them to take your job? use your brain!! otherwise I'm going to get stuck here with AI coworkers because I'm the only one validating anything.
