Things we want aren't things we need. We become in bondage to addictions of the flesh. We become spoiled, and our Dopamine receptors fried, leading to disphoria with life, and in the spirit. This is why the bible speaks of fasting. It keeps one humble and happy and pure, free from sin. Life. Full of life. Not trying to fill the void with fake. Obedience and self control. Gratitude rather than addiction.

I like livejournal, wt.social and Vero the best out of all the new platforms I've tried. Vero uses the most resources though. Part if what makes live journal and wt.social so great is how light weight they are.
