Saw your post on a 1 month retrospective- there are a few ways to reduce the tedium of updating the same thing on every page without relying on external tools. iFrames and Javascript are the most relevant for Neocities, but I did write a page on it if you're curious. https://owlsroost.xyz/articles/2023-12-23-reducing-html-redundancy.html

Static site generators can also help with it a lot, as can scripting. Those require that you edit the site on your local computer, then upload the files to Neocities (there are ways to automate that part!).
