@vashti this is embarassing to admit almost but it was Godzilla Minus One and I saw it in black and white. The representation of Godzilla as the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki along with the pain and suffering, PTSD, and fear of destruction left me in tears

I cried during Godzilla Minus One too!! Nothing embarrassing about it, such a touching & human film despite being about a kaiju.
