feeling conflicted about putting the bell jar in my 'favourites' for my books page. there's so much i appreciate about it as a book but there's also so much which i find hard to accept (should i be accepting it?).

youth also by daughter, skinny love by birdy, and runaway by aurora come to mind. i was all over her by salvia palth also has a viscerally melancholic feel to it

idk if it's THAT similar but my partner who got me into daughter has really gotten into the band midwife which is a pretty cool band that either way is worth listening to hehe
