from the experience ive had so far my homepage will always be the most unsatisfactory part :')
It's been on and off, but I've been trying to edit my site the past 30 mins and it just keeps loading so I think it got worse...
oof yikes, i mainly had issues yesterday where my site just wouldnt update but its not better now -_- hope its just a temporary squick
A bit of an update, seems like it's mainly an Europe problem, since using a VPN connecting to America seems to solve the issue for me, or at least it makes it better.
Neocities tends to be slow on random intervals, there are times I wanted to update my site but Neocities suddenly couldnt load
should also probably start implementing a global site css for most of my pages again, instead of every page having its own styling typed out separately but for some reason, if i change a css file on my site it takes bloody forever to update?? does anyone else have this issue as well?
you can try ctrl+shift+delete to clear your cache!! on firefox it'll give you a bunch of options like this - i'd recommend only selecting cache, last time i had all of them selected and it logged me out https://file.garden/ZXR-dj_dI1vYUkW7/thumbnails/clearcache.PNG
it doesnt immediately reload the page, but when you do reload the changes should appear!! i switched to a css sheet for homepage v2 and ive been having this issue, this is how i've been dealing with it!
thank you! ill try it in a bit, normally i get around it by opening my page in a new private tab and that way its always up to date with the new css but on normal tabs it sometimes takes up to a day to load the new css which is kinda annoying lol
ive had this issue! usually i can fix it by clearing cookies/browser history, exiting out of my browser, then opening it again. also, thank you for the follow :3c
Oh cool! I'm glad my site inspired you to take the idea and run with it! And yes, I'd totally love to join. :D
moved it! feels better to have it all in one space, functionality should remain the same since i just switched out all links leading to the webring site to my own webring subpage but if anyone finds any quirks i overlooked pls lmk
note for future me: dont forget to put the webring back on the siteeee
