Capcom very nearly initiated an analogous adaptation of Evil Dead Trap, but backed out at the 12th hour. Juzo Itami was aware of that when he hired Kurosawa and they approached Toho (after Daiei), and probably purposed to produce both at the project's outset. That's a very neat, pioneering little game, in large part for for KK's advisory input and supervision.
Thanks for reminding me of Scramble, which I haven't played in ages! I tend to fumble that one whilst dodging fireballs and bombing simultaneously.
