but yeah. since nintendo morbiused the virtual boy and people fell for it, it will return 3DS functionality by releasing a controller shaped like a launch-day 3DS, hardware-lock it to the switch 2, put 3DS games on a new tier of NSO+EP that costs $100, and charge $250 for the privilege. 12 games will ever be released for it and of those, 6 will get removed from classics for various official reasons.
i'm half-tempted to get a switch 2 but nintendo are getting way too cocky with their anti-consumer bs this gen. and tbh i can't really blame them either, their fanboys will buy and defend literally anything
$500 for the switch 2 + $250 for the 3DS controller + $100 repeating for access to the games = $850 for 51 weeks' access to 3DS games on switch 2
Nintendo's business model is absolutely maddening
god nintendo is genuinely so horrible
i made it sound like this is something nintendo is actually doing. i just made this up as a plausible situation, it isnt anything with concrete plans
hello do you have time to heard about the good news of our lord and savior the AYN thor???

It's telling that you made this up, but it's sufficiently anti-consumer enough to sound real :p
