A free Neocities account gives you 1Gig of storage. With proper image compression you shouldn't ever need more than that.

it took me like 3-4 years to reach 1GB without compressing anything (i compress everything now obvi)

Only have your image the size you intend to show it on your site, use jpeg or gif before using png! also you can find compressors online by googling. My site is only 261mb haha

It's a bad idea to host images onto Discord, because it causes all the links to be broken, especially after 180 days
discord hotlinking is officially dead so most of my pages look awful. it's over...

i'd kind of like to set up a photo gallery page for my site, but i'm very conscious of using up space and how to make that kind of thing work? i suppose that's something to figure out sometime soon :P
