Therefore, living as Christ still means persecution, for it is difficult to survive outside of a society that would constantly compel one to sin. However, there is incredible beauty and joy in sincerely trying to be steadfast in virtue amidst the chaos and pain. It brings forth an Agapic Love that is ineffable.

Upon turning around it seems like the eyes are more focused on the door rather than the viewer. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but it adds an interesting layer to the piece ... thank you for your art

good call-out, i had originally intended for the eyes to track the camera but then you would never be able to see around the eye.

I care about people, though I cast out any destructive spirits that motivate them. Even the turning of the wheel of samsara is sustained by the three poisons of ignorance, greed, and hatred...all of which are transformed by cultivating wisdom, generosity, and kindness. Thus, our existence is purposeful: to become like Christ.

I seldom agree with your conclusions, but I like how well thought out they are. Too many others like going online just to foam at the mouth and post over-simplified rage bait memes about it. It's refreshing to see someone capable of critical thinking, so keep writing.

At that point, I turned off Animal Planet and thought, "If it will redirect military spending into terraforming research that could be adapted towards ecological restoration, then maybe there is a silver lining there?"

your interpretation is as valid as mine, i took the same approach of just receiving signals from my brain. my take is that we go alone on a dangerous and risky path just for some symbolic achievement, after which only death (optionally rebirth) proceeds.
