i dont think i have the energy to update my banner every 1k views since everytime i do it changes in like a week, so i'm gonna keep the 10k banner but post the actual number underneath :)

there is a JS inplementation of milkdrop called butterchurn (github: https://github.com/jberg/butterchurn). if you want a good example, look at the music thing i made for https://cvrsed.neocities.org/ (its the "music" entry in the sidebar)

FOUND BIG BUG: on some pages you cant interact with anything under the transparent picture! you need to add this to the css for it: div.cur { pointer-events: none; position: fixed; top: 0; bottom: 0; left: 0; right: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;} div.cur img {width: 100%; height: 100%;} this will make the mose "click though it". also the image is too small so this fixes it.

Hey thank you so much for this! I saw this months ago and finally got some time this morning to implement this it into my site. Your code was almost perfect, just needed to wrap the initial load of storedSwagEnable in a JSON.parse() as LocalStorage is always stored as a string. Thank you for taking time to help me out with this!

Does anyone know how we can load our 88x31 buttons in a random order? In particular, ones that are clickable... and assuming only a little coding experience!

you could keep a txt file with the names of all the buttons you have (or even with the whole "" strings to simplify the script down the line), read that file everytime the button page loads, split the strings into an array, shuffle it like you would any array and then append them one by one in the button container element

I rooted around a bit trying to shuffle the existing elements on your buttons page, but it doesn't really work because of the arbitrary whitespace elements. Another solution would be to generate the buttons on the fly from the list of links/images with JS, but it's a bit more work. LMK if you would like me to do that for you ψ(._. )>
