It's a free anonymous file & web host, no signup. Host anything, for free. Still in the early stages of development, though it's got a solid framework and front end so far.

I decided to close this chat that used the Firebase Realtime Database, the chat made with Firestore, and the p2p chat using Excel and Google Apps Script. Lately I no longer have the desire or time to manage the sites and keep them properly secure.

This is the unfortunate thing about public chatrooms (and why I don't advise everyone to get one). It's hardly a matter of if, but when, people enter with the intention to troll and spam.

One could equate battling the trolls to the uphill battle in the Myth of Sisyphus. I find a strange whimsical peace in this, knowing that while they will never stop rolling the rock down, they can never truly break the code, or me pushing it back up >:]

I love how your site was first a simple chat room, and now is a thriving community! Love the site, theme, and minesweeper. Some tip for anyone playing it: Move window, get big openings, first click = safe, and if screen to small, use Ctrl and - (minus)! Thank you for inspiring me, and everyone else. #ONIO4EVER!

have you heard of oracle's free vps tier? Derrick from that90s.site was telling me about it. 24gb ram, 4vcpu ARM cores, 10tb transfer - could be useful for testing or projects!

Hmmm... I shall check into this! Were you thinking of using this? It would be cool if I could pipe W99 into that Quake server somehow... but also just thinking about future endeavors as I try to move toward multiuser stuff eventually.

I signed up for one, it turns out they make 2FA necessary, so you need to either use their authenticator app (which has poor reviews) or use a FIDO Authenticator usb drive. I'm going the drive option because I think it might be a nice idea to have one, ordered one for $27.

So yea, thinking about using this! I want a bit more control over how I customize my chatrooms and what kinds of features I can implement, and I think this would be a great start to building my own and testing things out without screwing up the anything on the onio forum xD

If Onio.Club were to have a forum, what boards and categories would you hope to see on it? We have had so many regulars bring up so many different interesting topics and discussions worth returning to across the past few months, I think it's finally time to build a place where we can talk about those in depth :)
