@thechillzone Yeah :( I had to put one up because someone with "Proship", and "Antis DNI" and some other really nasty stuff followed and linked to my banner and it made me so nauseous to see that :( Maybe eventually I'll remove it but at least for now I feel like I need to have that boundary with people...

i'm sorry you're upset :( i just make it clear in my about what my stance is on shipping and other modern social media discourse (i frankly think it's annoying and dumb and i want no part of any of it) and let people decide what they wanna do. every time i read a dni no matter what is on it i just get annoyed bc it feels so. bossy? you know? and like the person who made it is assuming/anticipating that i could (1/2)

(2/2) be a bad person/a bigot, and it makes me sad. and besides it's better to not treat neocities so much like a social media platform and just focus on doing your own thing :) ik the whole followers thing is scary and theres like a weird pressure like there is on social media

and when somebody follows me and they have something really concerning on their site (like one time a shrine page dedicated to actual school shooters) i just go (ಠ_ಠ) and ignore them since it's barely really interaction anyway. you know

@thechillzone I understand, don't worry!! I perfectly understand the sentiment of it feeling bossy, it's why I want to avoid them having anything beyond basic dni x( I do appreciate your perspective though ;; I really don't want to assume the worst in others, specially since I came here to get away from that kind of internet culture. School Shooter shrine sounds so bizarre LOL The stuff I saw feel more into kink art

and the thing with "basic dni criteria" is when people say that it could mean anything x.x like one of those "basic dni" carrds i see people link has exclusionary stuff and flag discourse among like 90 other things

I figured out how to get an animated cursor. It doesn't seem Chrome or other major browsers support .ani or .cur, at least I couldnt get it to work. I used this https://css-tricks.com/forums/topic/animated-cursor/
