ok so it turns out that i really suck at drawing on paper but i did pick up my oil paints again for the second time and am enjoying it much more and actually liking the results, me and paper/graphite just dont get along it seems

im trying not to do digital art as much cuz even tho i dont use a lot of the tools that are available, since i prefer to 90 to 100% freehand all of my digital drawings/paintings, i feel like its stunting my growth and making me grow some bad habits + i still dont understand color and values as well as i thought i did. also discovered i like working on really big canvases too. these small canvases dont do it for me 😤

@axayacatl perhaps u are right, i had done another spell about a 2 months ago where my granite plate broke bc i underestimated the heat from the fire i was burning — the spell worked better than expected then too. i never thought about the cards that way as indicating success, but looking at which cards got wet, i think u may be right 👀

@bonecharms thats awesome and i totally see it. my cards are so beaten up and stained from traveling with them and using them so often i see it as a testament of how far ive come and the more worn they are the more prevalent of a theme they are in my life
