Apparently, the Covid variant that has hurt India pretty badly is now rising in the UK. It shows that you can't be too careful even though cases over all were going down. I just hope that the stupid government doesn't let it run rampant before they do something about it again. Lots of people have been vaccinated now, but children and young people haven't and some of these variants that have been going out of

Today is the first time all week I've not felt wiped out, so I did some food shopping today. I had hoped to take Max for a long walk on Tuesday, but was too tired to do so. The Mill Hill kits I ordered earlier on this week have arrived. (Had to get to the door before Max, as he has the habit of attacking the post. Not his fault - I think it's some residual anxiety he's got from how he was treated when he was a young

puppy. I've know some dogs have that problem, but it's the first time I've had a dog with it myself. He does chew things and that's probably a part of the same thing.)
People are daft if they think the pandemic is over just because it is under control in their country. It's still out of control in many places around the world and everyone is still at risk from it, especially those who remain unvaccinated.

I'll take proven cures provided by Mother Nature (garlic, hot tea, lemons, or just natural immunity like @bmh said) over untested vaccines that loads of people have had debilitating side-effects from.

Today would have been a good day, if I'd not felt so tired. There are some new Mill Hill kits on the way and I've started up my subscription for LOTRO again. The three months one is the best, as it's only £21... (The monthly is £8.99, so you're almost spending £10 more...)
There are times I wonder what is wrong with people. My partner once again had one of his writings stolen - this time by a friend. They then proceed to gaslight him, complain that they don't have money (when earlier on this year they bought a new car and are currently having a conservatory built.) Come on. We're still paying for Misty's vet bills and had trouble recently with a catalogue company which I use to buy

essential household appliances that we can't pay for up front. I don't get why folks have to be dishonest and greedy and just exploit others for their own gain.

Why do the painting videos put on facebook waste so much paint? They must pour half the paint onto the 'canvas' every time they use them.
I don't know how much I'll be around this week. Depends on if today has wiped me out, or not.
The next Star Wars film to come out will be about Rogue Squadron. Is it too much to hope that it will be based on Michael Stackpole's work? Probably.

With these new starwars projects, they seem to just keep some elements from the legends equivalent; They'll at least borrow ideas from it. I'm hoping so myself.

I've got the screen shots for Huldrika's house - they just need some editing to resize them and clean them up before I can post them. Some have not come out as well as I'd like, but they'll do.
I left that rp forum. I can tell when rpers are only bothered about the board being centered around their favourite ship and aren't really that bothered about writing with characters which aren't connected to theirs in that way. I'm not going to bother roleplaying any more and just write stories.

Been watching Channel 5's All Creatures Great and Small. I don't like it as much as the BBC version. The sets are too perfect and pristine, the costumes the same, there is less focus on the clients, less focus on the animals, and it doesn't feel as authentic. Gone is the Yorkshire dialect, too. It's too polished.

It also doesn't remind me of my elderly relatives, all now gone, who lived through that era, nor does it remind me of how vets were when I was a kid. That world is gone. It probably suffers from the lack of input from people who lived in those times. Robert Hardy who played Siegfried in the BBC version actually knew Tolkien and C. S. Lewis.
Spent the afternoon decorating a hobbit house in LOTRO. I used some Rohan windows as built in cupboards. Didn't know what to do with them, really because there wasn't room for them in the Rohan house. Sometimes you just have to be creative with housing decorations.

It seems I managed to tire Max out today. Good. Means that I get some peace this afternoon.
Took Max out for a very good walk today. He needed it, and it exposed him to new things. My dodgy leg muscle is stiff now.
