The acidic Suda 51 + Grasshopper Studio games are a big inspiration to me. Killer 7, KILLER IS DEAD, Shadows of the Damned. Those games wear their influences of old school Japanese arcade games on their sleeves. With more sleaze and skeevy humor.

@axayacatl lollipop briefly (think I own a copy) and weirdly not NMH despite being their most popular franchise. no advice but I definitely experienced this when I was younger, it's really hard. sorry you're dealing with this
i have ocd/ptsd combo and i did emdr therapy a few years and it helped ENORMOUSLY, not gone entirely bc it never will be, but it really helped retrain my repetitive thinking. cant recommend it enough!
